German translation of my Goosebook<\/h1>\n

In April 2023, the Swiss children's book publisher Baobab will publish the German translation of my book \"The goose snatches the bread of the ducks<\/a>, my childhood in a Japanese internment camp on the island Java\".
\nBaobab Books<\/a> is a special publishing house. The people there want to promote cultural diversity in children's and youth literature and their symbol is the impressive baobab tree, native to Africa. In its shadow, people tell stories and have passed down legends for centuries to the next generation.
\nIn the midst of a multi-voiced society, Baobab Books advocates openness and respect for people from different cultural backgrounds. The focus of their work is the book, which, as a cultural asset, can convey social values in a differentiated way like hardly any other medium.<\/p>\n
